ServersCheck Monitoring is a tool for monitoring, reporting and alerting on network and systems availability. It has 60+ different types of checks to monitor almost anything running in your network. You can monitor devices, using any TCP Port (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, NNTP, POP3, SMTP, VNC, DNS, etc) and also perform database checks (ODBC, Oracle, MySQL), trap SNMP values (disk space, free memory, CPU usage, etc), verify content served from a web server and check NT services and process availability. Lantern Network Manager Listing updated: January 26, 2005

Lantern is a visual network manager that allows you to monitor the status of connected nodes, communicate with users, access remote file systems and automatically backup files to a central location. It uses a client/server system that displays a graphical icon for each node in the Manager interface. You can right-click to access the machine, move or copy files or send a message to the current user. In addition, you can view disk space utilization and memory usage on the remote machine(s), as well as operating system, IP address and Mac address information, and also perform remote shutdowns. Lantern also includes an integrated VNC viewer/server to remotely control a workstation.
