Comments for Availability Manager for Exchange

Availability Manager for Exchange Listing updated: October 30, 2006

Quest Availability Manager for Exchange detects when e-mail outages occur, and ensures critical send-receive e-mail functionality is maintained for users in an Exchange environment. In the event of an outage, either planned or unplanned, Availability Manager automatically switches users to a defined Exchange server/store where they will continue to have send/receive e-mail capabilities and access to historical data. After the failed server/store has been restored, users are moved back to their original server without any data loss.

Availability Manager provides the confidence that comes with controlling and maintaining e-mail availability, and the peace of mind that critical business information will be available both during and after an outage.
